HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Join an exciting and dynamic aviation services company. We are looking for a Human Resources Manager in our Philadelphia market to motivate our team to excellence. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Operations.

Specific Duties to include:
Leadership
• Work closely with station management and hourly personnel to motivate the workforce and build a positive and thriving team environment.
Recruiting/Staffing
• Oversee recruiting for all hourly employees.
• Participate in recruiting for managers.
HR Administration
• Plan and administer all Human Resources policies and programs for the assigned location.
• Review all company policies, procedures, handbooks and practices on personnel matters and recommend revisions/improvements as needed, especially on state specific issues.
• Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to personnel matters, including all equal employment opportunity (“EEO”) laws, all workers compensation laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act and equivalent state laws (“FMLA”), the Americans with Disabilities Act and equivalent state laws (“ADA”), the National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA”), and the Railway Labor Act (“RLA”).
• Process, or oversee processing of, all leave of absence requests.
• Serve as EEO specialist for the assigned location and draft position statements to federal, state, and local EEO governmental agencies as needed
Safety
• Work with Vice President of Safety and safety coordinators to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local occupational safety and health laws in the assigned location.
• Oversee all record keeping for the assigned location.
Employee Relations
• Oversee implementation of Employee Recognition Programs.
• Assist executive management in the annual review process, including preparing and administrating the salaried employee bonus program.
• Ensure managers in the assigned region document disciplinary issues appropriately.
• Conduct conflict resolution investigations and investigate disciplinary matters as needed.
• Counsel employees as needed.
• Help managers in the assigned location carry out personnel matter responsibilities.
• Support corporate policies and assist managers in enforcing policies in a fair and equitable manner.
Training
• Mentor/coach managers to improve human resources skills and knowledge.
• Conduct needs assessment with managers as appropriate.
• Monitor training programs for effectiveness and legal compliance.
• Deliver training programs, as necessary.
Benefits

• Communicate benefits information to all employees. Requirements
4+ years of Human Resouces Generalist experience
Strong Recruiting/Staffing skills a must!
BA in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
