And we welcome anyone who shares our commitment to ingenuity and excellence.EOE/AA EmployerOverall responsiblity for the execution of rental projects including the assembly of peripheral equipment, logistics to and from the job site, set up, commissioning, and decommissioning.  Also has responsibility for the transportation and logistics associated with the Adaptive (modular plant) business.  Drives for lowest cost solutions that meet customer requirements in both the rental and adaptive businesses.  Supervises one to two Rental and Logistics coordinators.  Has responsibility for Maintaining the rental fleet of equipment and managing 5 Depot locations. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:1.  Oversees all transportation and logistics requirements associated with the “Adaptive” (modular plants and custom package products) business.2.Manages Adaptive logistics to achieve best costs and most reliable and secure transportation of materials and finished goods to and from the plant location. (Domestic and International arrangements as required).3.Plays the primary role in the selection of carriers and negotiation of rates and schedules.4.Works with rental sales personnel to identify specific component requirements for project packages and determine availability of equipment.5.Executes preparation of equipment packages and transportation from the depot to the job site in the most cost efficient manner compatible with customer requirements.6.Arranges for the set up, commissioning, and decommissioning of equipment.7.Directs the maintenance and repair of equipment returning from projects and keep accountability of all inventory of equipment and supplies in the field.8.Directly supervises the Service Foreman in Indianapolis.9.Manages all issues associated with setting up and running depot locations (5)10.  Serves as the key customer contact after contracts are secured.11.  Provides basic technical and application support to customers.12.  Serves as an inside sales rep at peak business periods and/or as otherwise needed.13.  Assist with logistics support to the Adaptive side of the business as required.Associates degree in technical service such as HVAC. Minimum of five years of HVAC service or sales experience.  3-5 years experience in the transportation or logistics field preferred. Proficient in PC based programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite, electronic mail, and the Internet.  Good customer relations skills.  Travel 10-20% of the time.
