We currently have an immediate opening for a Hardware Sales Consultant to be based out of our office in Burlington, VT.
In this position, you will drive to sell technology-based solutions to Allscripts clients. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable speaking with customers of all levels. This may include end-users, IT managers, and executive management.
This position will be responsible for working with:Working with customers and Allscripts sales reps to assess, qualify, and develop IT based solutions for our customers and prospects. Putting together detailed hardware and software quotes. Participate in pre and post-sales technical discussions with prospects and existing customers.
Qualifications:In depth knowledge and familiarity of one or more of the following Enterprise Product lines: HP, IBM, Fujitsu, and/or Dell Intel servers and storage (i.e. HP Proliant, IBM X-series, Dell PowerEdge). Familiarity with HP, IBM, Fujitsu, and EMC SANs also desirable. Familiarity with 3rd party products such as Fujitsu, Toshiba, and/or Motion handheld devices, scanners, and/or printers. Past experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and a fundamental understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and computer hardware is required. Familiarity with SQL desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work flexible hours, work with minimal supervision, and often work long hours to make proposal deadlines. Strong work ethic required. Some travel required
