 WHO is Schneiderman’s?

Schneiderman’s Furniture has a long and rich history of superior customer service, innovative ideas, and family values. From humble roots as a general store in Meadowlands, MN in 1948, Schneiderman’s has grown to be one of the most respected furniture retailers in the Midwest with seven locations throughout Minnesota – five in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and two in St. Louis county. The company is still owned and operated by the Schneiderman family who, along with a dedicated and knowledgeable sales and service staff, continue to uphold the commitment to quality and value started all those years ago.

WHAT is the job?

The Sales/Design Consultant helps our customers create beautiful homes by assisting them with their home furnishings selections. You need an eye for color and style and our most successful consultants have previous sales and/or design experience.

WHEN do you work?

We require three full weekends (Saturday and Sunday) because that’s when our customers like to shop. You also work at least one evening during the week. Part-time consultants work a minimum of 20 hours a week. We provide a paid two week training program to get you off to a great start.

WHERE do you work?

You will work with other professionals at our Lakeville, Plymouth, Roseville, or Plymouth locations – whichever is the best fit. We are proud of our positive environments and highly encourage both personal and professional growth. Some of our team members have been with us for over 25 years.

WHY?

Our compensation includes a guaranteed draw against commission. Full-time consultants can earn between $30,000 and $60,000, part-time consultants earn $15 to $25 per hour or more. Eligible consultants enjoy our comprehensive benefits package:
