Human Resource Director-Business and Industry Dining Services - Western Region

As the Human Resources Director, you will act as a generalist for the Western region. You will provides Human Resource leadership and generalist support for the West Region of Business Services. Responsible for providing strategic direction, and professional consultation to senior level leadership and their respective organizations on all matters involving human capital. This position includes direct management responsibility of one HR professional. Implements key Human Resource strategies with client groups, which include: training and development, succession planning, compensation planning, benefits, employee retention, performance management, talent acquisition, labor relations and employee relations. Directs Talent Management initiatives including, onboarding, employee training coordination and delivery, evaluations, organizational development and employee retention strategies. Oversees talent acquisition activities in creatively sourcing and hiring talent. Partners with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in supporting talent acquisition initiatives. Partners in addressing organizational design issues and opportunities across client groups, providing counsel on organization optimization, including restructuring, realignments, job description creation/evaluations and other methods for optimizing people resources. Develops, interprets, and ensures the compliance of policies and procedures. Coaches and advises leadership and management on all employee relations issues. Conducts and resolves employee investigations in a timely manner in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Directs Human Resources programs covering employment, onboarding, training, compensation, AA/EEO compliance, safety and health, benefits, employee relations, record retention etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures. Works with regional recruiter to maintain and fill front line manager pipeline Participates in sales presentations as appropriate Acts as a strategic business partner and liaison by helping to direct solutions to business problems and ensuring the efficient delivery of HR programs and services. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Human Resources Management. Seven to ten years of progressive Human Resources experience. Human Resources planning and organizational development experience desired. Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis. Solid understanding of financial and business objectives and analytical/problem solving skills. Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree combined with 7-12 years of human resources experience. Experience with companies operating in multi-site, multi-state operations is required. HR experience should include all areas generalist background. Proven track record in human resource planning and organizational development experience is also required.
