IT Client Manager

Position Background: The role of the IT Client Manager is to develop strong working relationships with Alta clients while serving as a liaison between the client and the IT staff with regards to IT projects. The Client Manager will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the assigned business accounts. This role will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Client Manager will work closely with business decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This position reports to the IT Client Director. This position reports to the Director of IT Services and can be located in our California office or our Wisconsin office.
Responsibilities: Work with IT, Operations, and client to develop project business case and/or project overview Communicate Customer Care industry best practices to client Develop scope of work for projects that includes project definition, deliverables, requirements, and estimates Analyze and then document risks, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and business requirements for projects Provide Fit-Gap analysis between business requirements and current system functionality Work with IT service provider leaders to develop project work estimates Manage project scope change by the client and assigned team members Manage project costs and resources Ensure project deliverables and client expectations are achieved through the defined project Assist with the development and/or improvement of business processes related to specific clients Manage CRM related industry processes and related technology Provide client liasion progress updates on specific IT related workload Manage project tasks and resources to maintain project schedule and ensure project deliverables are met Manage project task priorities and issues that arise through the duration of a project Manage quality of project deliverables Develop and communicate metrics of a project to the client and Alta management as required through the duration and closeout of a project Collect, organize, and communicate complete project documentation to the sponsor Manage the closeout process for a project to include documentation, post production audit, and satisfaction survey analysis Support Program Directors in business development opportunities with external client
Qualifications: A university degree or college diploma in business or information systems is required. Five or more years Project Management experience within an IT capacity is a must including all aspects of process development and execution Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations Proven leadership skills Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to travel to Alta locations and client locations; can be up to 15%- 20% of the time Certifications in Project Management are recommended, but not required
