POSITION: Industrial Sales Representative

 

ABOUT AIRPRO, INC.

 

The Company was established in the early 1970’s as a distributor of  commercial/industrial self-contained electrostatic air cleaners to end users.

 

Over the years, the company and product lines distributed/represented have grown and evolved to include all phases of air filtration, dust collection, industrial vacuum, ventilation equipment/systems, accessories, parts/service and vehicle exhaust removal products.  Our industry experience and successful sales track record has enabled Airpro to obtain premier product lines for representation and to attract skilled personnel.

 

Airpro customers and clients include industrial manufacturing shops/plants, mines, labs, schools, utilities, consultants and commercial users.  Vehicle exhaust removal customers include Fire Departments, Ambulance Services, Military Installations, Industrial Applications and auto / truck repair facilities.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

 

The position requires a thorough understanding of how to apply products that provide solutions to smoke/dust/mist/fume/odor or heat build-up within facilities or part of a process.

 

Full product/application training is provided for the position in order to assure strong product/application knowledge and sales skills which assure successful sales rep performance.  A significant portion of Airpro sales are repeat business.

 

The position is basically "outside sales" since the majority of sales effort is done at customer facilities and throughout defined geographic territory throughout the inter-mountain west. Some overnight travel occurs.

 

Typical responsibilities include:

 

¨  Lead generation/management 

¨  Project/Site survey

¨  Customer Qualification

¨  Product Demonstration/Solution recommendation

¨  Proposal Generation / Presentation

¨  Project/Order Management

¨  After Sale Follow-Up

 

Customers/Clients are encouraged to visit Airpro showroom and demonstration area to view equipment or to meet regarding various product needs.

 

Sales Representatives spend time as needed "in the office" in order to take care of administrative details, prepare proposals, perform follow-up and telephone marketing.

 

Leads are provided by the company from various sources however, sales representative generated contacts and referrals are a necessary part of the position.

 

Database/Contact management is sustained and maintained by individual representatives throughout their specified territories via use of Goldmine Contact Manager Software Program.

 

Airpro sales representatives are supplied with a laptop computer, Phone/ PDA and other selling tools in the form of photo portfolios, power point presentations and have access to product displays or demonstrations.

 

Sales representatives are given annual sales/quote quotas to attain with bonus commission levels on top of the base for exceeding goals.

 

Compensation plan consists of a base salary with commissions on order gross margin and bonuses for goal attainment.

 

Auto/Travel expenses are provided, along with a cell phone allowance, e-mail address and voice-mail.
