Inside Sales Associate
Location: New York City
Summary: Highly motivated Inside Sales Associate sought for new position with a leading capital markets and investment research company. Experience and track-record desirable but motivation for establishing new client relationships through cold calling and scheduling initial presentations, is the key criteria. The successful candidate will have a strong record as a self-starter, as evidenced by academic, professional, or personal achievements.
No minimum experience is required, but the candidate must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, and be credible in dealing with Senior Executives in the Capital Markets Industry.
Role focuses on generating new business opportunities for the company, a global analytical services outsourcing firm. Specific responsibilities include identifying new prospects and cold calling senior executives to schedule detailed company presentations in New York and San Francisco. Ability to travel within the metro area is required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma. Some college or college degree is preferable.
Experience: Desirable: Business-to-Business sales experience, financial services sales experience, strong track-record in sales.Less than 5 years total work experience is appropriate.
Personal: Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephone skills, professional appearance, strong team player, strong work-ethic, solid writing skills, and most importantly, drive and motivation.
Other: Must be PC-literate with ability to use e-mail and browser applications.Basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel is also required.
Compensation:
$45-$80k total package is achievable in the first year. Amount inclusive of base, commission, and potentially annual bonuses.
Health and dental insurance after 90 days, wellness and transportation benefit.
