California First Leasing Corporation, a nationwide leader in the equipment finance/leasing industry, a subsidiary of California First National Bancorp (NASDAQ: CFNB) is currently hiring B2B inside sales professionals with the ability to build relationships with high level executives at Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies.
An AE is assigned a sales territory by CalFirst and given access to a proprietary computer database containing information about key decision makers at existing and prospective customers within such territory. An AE contacts by telephone CFO’s, CIO’s, Treasurers, Controllers, I/T Directors and other key decision makers at the businesses located in his/her territory to develop customer relationships, provide information about the benefits of CalFirst’s services/products, identify current and future leasing opportunities and obtain new customer contact information. The majority of the AE’s workday will be spent on the telephone with these key customer contacts. An AE is required to input notes regarding his/her communications with customers in the customer database and is responsible for updating and adding new customer contact information to the database for his/her territory on a daily basis. CalFirst will use some of this contact information to run marketing campaigns in support of the AE’s sales efforts.
An AE also prepares written lease proposals (with the assistance of his/her manager), is involved in lease negotiations and is expected to be CalFirst’s primary contact with his or her designated customers. Additionally, the AE will send information to customers (in hardcopy or electronic form) regarding CalFirst and its services. The position may involve some minimal travel; however, the typical workday for an AE is spent entirely at CalFirst’s offices.
All AE's are assigned to managers that work with and teach the financial sales/leasing business to promote their success and growth.Competitive base salary of $40,000, plus $5,000- $10,000 in bonus/commission opportunities average the first year, and upward after year one. 401k, paid training, and should you have upward mobility aspirations top sales performers are promoted within the Company.
