Inside Sales- GSA Accounts (Government Accounts)

 

Dynamic global distribution company located in Brooklyn currently offering an excellent growth opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated  inside Sales Rep with experience in  digital and electronic media/government accounts.

 We are a growing company looking to add a successful member to our  motivated team of Representatives  who call on governmental offices.

This position is not for the “reactive” or  “passive”, but rather the entrepreneurial and fearless! Collaborating alongside a distinct team of Account Mangers, Marketing Specialists, Customer Service reps and Sales Manager, this individual will truly experience the “Team Selling “ dynamic.If you can appreciate the precise details and fundamentals  of managing an account, while also having the big picture vision to strategize for the future,you will thrive within a role such as this!

  You will be expected to work in our Brooklyn office,in the Governmental channel sales department,also known as Gov Goods.

 


 Specific Responsibilities :

 

·  Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.

·  Develop relationships with our vendor partners to leverage their resources.

·  Manage the sales cycle of assigned accounts to obtain sales of products carried by GovGoods.

·  Work closely with other coworkers to ensure sales, marketing, and contract programs are consistently and effectively implemented.

·  Develop, maintain and execute a high level of knowledge on contract packages.

·  Ability to present our capabilities at seminars, tabletop shows and to user groups.

·  Input, on a daily basis, all activities to include but not limited to: meetings, contacts, calendar, updates and forecasts into the contact sales management program.

Qualifications:

·  Prior experience in selling photo capture products as well as technology and digital electronics products.

·  College Degree or equivalent industry experience, 2+ years of sales experience.

·  Knowledge of government procurement budgets and procurement cycles.

·  Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, an energetic and enthusiastic individual.Motivated by achievement, challenge and competition.
