We are currently looking for an energetic, motivated and talented, Instructional Designer to join our growing team

 

Position Summary:

The Instructional Designer is responsible for the needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation and maintenance of courseware for software products produced by Matrix Solutions.  The Instructional Designer will analyze the applications, workflow, and business processes used by our customers to create curriculum supporting multiple delivery methodologies including self-paced, instructor-led and performance support tools.

 

Responsibilities:

· Develops performance objectives, recommend appropriate learning strategies/interventions and outline content

· Partners with Subject Matter Experts to develop materials

· Designs/Storyboard content

· Project manages curriculum development projects to meet deadlines

· Gains consensus/signs-off on final design

· Tests and publishes training

· Facilitates knowledge transfer of curriculum to training staff

· Designs and develops performance-based assessments to determine effectiveness of learning and performance solutions

· Maintains and updates content as needed

· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Technology or related degree. Masters Degree a plus

· Minimum of 5 years experience developing technical training including web-based, Instructor-led and performance support tools

· Superior written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodology

· Ability to multitask and learn new concepts quickly

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Must be a team player

· Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Captivate
