Synopsis of Employee Role: Interacts with customers in a day-to-day business environment via phone or in direct contact. Need to have some previous insurance industry/agency experience and a current Property & Casualty license in the state of Louisiana. Essential Job Functions (core functions of position that must be performed)· Determines customers needs by gathering necessary information · Answers customers questions/any concerns regarding billing statements, and policy changes· Acts as liaison between customer and insurance carrier· Accepts payments from customers on behalf of the insurance companies· Responsible for building relationships with customers to provide excellent customer service including informing customers of other product lines available· Other duties and tasks as assignedCritical Skills / Qualifications: · Strong relationship and interpersonal skills· Excellent listening, oral, and written skills· Good organizational / time management skills· Strong analytical skills· Ability to maintain a high level of tact and professionalism· Ability to manage processes· Ability to use multiple systems and software while performing multiple transactions· Strong ability to self manage leads and customers via multiple systems and communication methods· Ability to create professional business relationships with prospects and policyholders to determine buying needs· Ability to analyze customer needs based on market economies while evaluating risk assessment· Ability to work under pressure· Ability to anticipate and resolve problems Education / Experience / Licensure:  Full Property and Casualty License in the state of LA – required Previous Insurance Industry experience - required Personal Lines experience - required, Commercial Lines experience a plus Knowledge in using underwriting guidelines for multiple carriers - preferred but not required High School Diploma or equivalent - required Remedy Intelligent Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
