International Freight Sales for our freight forwarding team. In this position, you will participate in efforts to grow the business unit and increase the market presence of England Logistics as a premier logistics provider. The main focus of this position is to solicit freight, manage existing accounts and help to build the division domestically and internationally.  You will be in contact with customers and shippers daily, building relationships, solving problems, and assessing customers' needs to make sure they are met along with the companies’ goals.

The responsibilities for this position include:

·  Selling freight and our logistics services

·  Collaborate with teams to ensure that weekly goals are met

·  Proactively manage exceptions and provide solutions

·  Manage customer relationships

·  Prepare and coordinate required reporting documentation

·  Assist with the negotiation of  rate quotes

·  Communicate information timely and accurately

·  Customer Reporting

 Job Requirements

The required qualifications for this position include:

 

·  2-3 years experience with Freight Forwarding

·  Ocean inbound and Outbound freight sales experience

·  Understanding of the import and export industry

·  Understanding of the NVOCC

·  Competitive personality

·  Strong sales skill set and sales background

·  Growth and sales oriented

·  A proven track record of performance

·  Problem solving and analytical skills

·  Attention to detail and accuracy

·  Strong customer service skills

·  Ability to multi-task

·  Team oriented

·  Effective communication skills

·  Bachelor’s degree
