Java Software Engineer

Job Description:

Our Java Software Engineers develop back-end and front-end applications for all aspects of payment processing in the ever expanding field of e-commerce. The growing list of payment methods processed by the ecommerce industry currently includes credit cards, electronic checks, Bill Me Later, PayPal, and Google Checkout. Responsibilities:


Contribute to the design of new components and systemsImplement, document, and test software components and systemsUtilize extreme programming software development procedures and practicesPerform unit level and integration level testing of software components and systemsGain domain expertise in all aspects of e-commerce payment processing.



Requirements:


BS-CS or related field 3+ years professional Java programming experience Java development expertise in a Windows or Linux/Unix environment JDBC / SQL experience; ability to create complex, efficient queries Experience with commercial app server, e.g. WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere J2EE development experience; RMI, EJB, JSP, XML Transaction processing experience a plus Extreme programming and pair programming experience a plus Linux/Unix command line experience Practical problem analysis and solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Committed to exacting quality standards; extensive unit and integration test experience and be detailed orientedHaving worked successfully in a close team environment
