Kitchen Home Center Sales Representative
Position Description
An industry leading kitchen and bath manufacturing company is seeking qualified professionals to lead our kitchen cabinet sales efforts at 1 of the largest home improvement retailer. We are one of the fastest growing companies in the industry and our unmatched manufacturing capabilities make us one of the dominant leaders in the category. To continue our success we are seeking energetic, creative and self motivated people to join our team as a Kitchen Home Center Sales Representative. Successful candidates will possess strong sales and account management background and leverage those assets to achieve market and company sales goals.
As a Kitchen Home Center Sales Representative you will call on established stores within a given region. Primary responsibilities involve quickly establishing relationships with existing and new designers, educating them on our product line and assisting them in selling to their customers. You’ll use a range of sales and marketing techniques including conducting product knowledge training sessions and conducting sales events and promotions, while maintaining exceptional relationships and service to our customer.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and ServiceAggressively expand revenue through existing home center baseIncrease market share within given geographic territoryWork with kitchen designer to target sales opportunities; contractor, homeowner, builders, re-habs, etcCoordinate and execute formal and informal product training sessions with retail associate and end-users.Manage, support and assist new product launch and marketing program objectivesPlan, organize and implement a range of sales promotion programs and/or eventsCoordinate and manage new store set and resets.
Sales and Administrative ManagementDevelop and execute strategies and account plans to support company objectivesResponsible for effective territory planning, sales performance measurementDevelop innovative ideas, advancements and solutions. Analyze information and draw reasonable conclusionsReturn to vendor merchandise management Provide end-user home calls and technical support.

RequirementsFour (4) Year Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience in dealer based salesPrior kitchen sales experience a requirement. 20/20 knowledge a plus.Strong leadership, management, planning and organization skills requiredProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required (oral, written and presentation).Creative problem solver with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail skills.Ability to travel overnight (25 to 50%) and excellent driving recordStrong persuasive skills, energy, good listener, reliable, work ethic, responsiveness, planning and organizational skills.
