Learning Administrator---1141
The Learning Administrator owns full responsibility for supporting Ashland'sLearning Management System (LMS) as well as other sector LMS applications. Thisjob role provides daily customer service to both internal and external customersperforms LMS system administration and manages learning events. The role alsoprovides general administrative support to the department on an as needed basis. Must be able to effeciently multitask, be detail oriented, and able to follow both verbal and written instuction with little to no supervision.
ADMINISTERS LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)* Manages user accounts and security* Creates course descriptions for all types of learning (e-learning, virtual,classroom, paper-based etc.)* Monitors and schedules instructor-led classes* Uploads training history/enrollments into the LMS* Manages certification and curricula functionality; ensures that allcertifications & curricula on the system are current, accurate andoperational* Processes and ensures accuracy of class credits* Analyzes and reports learning execution* Troubleshoots and resolves LMS system or administration problems* Facilitates informational web-ex sessions for users* Provides support to any enhancements, including communication, training anduser support
PROVIDES CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS* Responds to technical inquiries from internal and external customers on adaily basis via e-mail and phone* Provides technical support and troubleshoots with all levels of Leadership* Provides education/technical training to Ashland employees and customers onusage of the LMS
MANAGES LEARNING EVENTS* Develops and revises course material* Program set-up* Develops and distributes communications with participant's and their leaders* Troubleshooting on event days* Sets up classroom environment* Prepares and distributes materials to program sites* Manages all off-site program logistics with hotels and other venuesManages all steps of administration of leadership/team tools for courses (360assessments, Myers Briggs, etc.) including all communication, tools
To qualify, you will need the following:* Two years of college* 2+ years of experience providing administrative support; customer service,administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and/or systemadministration or technical help desk.* Must have excellent computer skills, including Windows XP, Microsoft Office,Microsoft Project and Internet Explorer.* Must possess strong technical aptitude; demonstrated aptitude for meetingdeadlines in a fast-paced environment; and demonstrated ability to complete ahigh volume of work quickly, while maintaining quality.* Must have excellent organizational skills; detail oriented; oral and writtencommunication skills; and ability to work with all levels within theorganization.
