MARKETING MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY: 

Organizes and directs the hospitals business development, marketing public relations, and advertising to develop public interest, understanding, and goodwill in accordance with the policies of the hospital and consistent with administrative guidelines. Responds to media, other request for information and coordinates the community relations programs. Responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the marketing plan for the institution and affiliated healthcare adventures.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.  Completion of undergraduate degree is required.

2.  Professionally served as a member of at least two of the following organizations: the Public Relations Society of America, American marketing Association, American Advertising federation, professional health organization or related professional group.

3.  must have at least five years public relations, marketing and advertisement experience, preferably  to include at least 3 years experience in the health care field.

4.  One year managerial experience required; preferably in the area of healthcare administration.
