MOLDING SUPERVISOR PROCESS TECHNICIAN

MAJOR FUNCTION

·  Supervise operations of the department to obtain quality product.

·  Ensure molding provides parts to assembly department and customers on a timely manner

·  Ensure PM’s on presses, molds, and other equipment, are performed in a timely manner

·  Enforces safety regulation s and maintains safe working practices.

·  Conduct shift meeting on a timely manner

·  Ensure administers management policies and decisions are followed

·  Ensure of accurate production reporting

·  To perform mold process, cycling and troubleshooting of the molds and machinery in the department, assuring parts are running to the standard cycle and are within quality limits.

·  H.R. Administrator

·  Assembly Supervisors

·  Customer Service, and sales staff

·  Quality Assurance  staff

·  Tool shop and maintenance staff

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

·  Maintains molding shop schedule.

·  Train department personnel.

·  Verify molds operate according to set-up instructions and specification sheets.

·  Coaches and trains employees on the shift.

·  Performs timely employee reviews.

·  Completes necessary paperwork as required.

·  Ensures that safe work practices and conditions are in place.

·  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·  Conduct shift meetings

·  Any other duties or tasks which may be assigned.

·  Set-up and remove molds in a safe and efficient manner as per written procedure.

·  Maintain molding cycles to that of standard or better and remain within quality standards.

·  Proper use of all safety equipment and devices.

·  Ensure proper set-up of all secondary machinery and auxiliary equipment.

·  Complete all necessary documentation regarding set-up sheets, changeovers, mold repair, etc.

·  Training of set-up and material employees.

·  Proper case and storage of all molds and related equipment.

·  Perform minor maintenance on the molding machines, i.e., hydraulic and electrical.

·  Any other duties or tasks which may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

·  Strong leadership ability.

·  Excellent communication, math and reasoning skills.

·  Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·  Bilingual is a must.

·  Some college desirable.

·  Ability to learn and teach others.

·  Safe practices in handling and operational functions of the varied working procedures.

·  Plastic Injection molding experience
