MS SQL Database Developer / DBA

Description: This position requires stronger Microsoft SQL development skills than infrastructure administration skills.

As Omeda’s Development DBA, your responsibilities will include:
• Support software development with schema design and query assistance
• Identify, analyze, and document issues that affect the performance or production quality
• Create new and modify existing MS SQL Reporting Services reports
• Ensure proper configuration, maintenance, and operation of MS SQL Database servers
• Performance tuning and optimizing queries
• Database schema management and optimization
• Database change control and documentation

Requirements:
• 3-5+ years MS SQL Database Development and Administration experience in a production environment
• Experience creating MS SQL queries and stored procedures
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL 2005
• Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• SQL Reporting Services experience is a very strong plus
• Experience in clustered environments is a plus
• Experience with administration and maintenance of larger databases (100+ GB) is a plus
• Embarcadero Change Manager experience is a plus
