Maintenance Worker

 

Immediate need for a Maintenance Worker for a 30,000 ft. Miami Estate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Installing, maintaining and repairing the facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles and grounds, performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.

 Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

 Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed.

 Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

 Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

 Performs outside custodial duties as required.

 May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 Must be flexible and able to work on call 24/7 as needed

 Must be computer savvy (record recording, MS Office Suite)

High school diploma required and one year of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair.

 Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.

 Valid Florida Drivers License

 Valid HVAC, electrical, plumbing certifications required. EPA and Home inspection certification a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
