This will include implementation of policies, procedures, and practices for claims handling, eligibility for benefits and declination of claims for benefits while managing the day-to-day production of all and ensuring that financial, business, and company goals meet expected levels and reported to Senior Management. The manager is also responsible for the management of staff to include decisions regarding pay, performance management, employment, and staffing. Other duties, as assigned may also be required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years experience in claims management, including 5 years in a supervisory role. The incumbent must possess exceptional leadership, customer service, communication, prioritization and organizational skills, and have the ability to establish and implement performance goals, objectives, and standards for individuals and teams. Knowledge of processes, system design, implementation, functions, financial reporting, and legal/regulatory concepts relating to AD & D claims management.
