Legacy Health System, a billion dollar a year company, is currently recruiting for an experienced Manager of Information Security and Compliance to join our dynamic Information Services Department at our System Office. 

 

The Manager of IS Information Security & Compliance manages and applies in-depth knowledge of functional aspects of information systems security and compliance.    Develops and manages Legacy’s information systems security and compliance systems and processes for continual improvement in accordance with customer needs and to add value to Legacy’s information systems. Is a key interface with user management and IS staff to anticipate and resolve problems.

 

To be considered, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, business or related field or equivalent experience. In addition, five years of progressively more responsible working experience in information systems security, compliance, and/or related field experience is required.  Knowledge of hospital/healthcare environment is needed.  Experience in planning, design, development, and implementation of information systems security and compliance practices and policies in support of regulatory requirement is also necessary. The individual must have technical experience across a wide variety of information systems, hardware platforms and an enterprise network.  A thorough understanding of current developments and trends in information systems security and compliance technology, practices, and regulations is also critical to this role.
