Manager - Information Technology

Our client is a dynamic, rapidly-growing, leading national facility maintenance provider that is in need of an experienced IT Manager to join their team.  The growth of our company has created the demand for someone who can step in and be responsible for all aspects of the administration and strategic usage of the company’s IT infrastructure.  The IT Manager will audit and ensure proper controls, maintain the existing infrastructure, plan to allow for growth, and be instrumental in the development of new products offered online.  If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment of a small business and enjoy accepting multiple tasks and assignments, this may be the position for you. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·  Networking

o Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting IT infrastructure

·  Telephony

o Manages and develops upgrades to CTI telephone system

o Oversees all telephone changes, including routing for extensions and trunk handling

o Maintains and administers developments to the IVR system

·  Training & Systems Maintenance

o Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software. Provide training for staff in the effective usage of software.

·  Internal Systems

o Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary

o Manage and Maintain DNS, Domain and Active Directory services.

o Continued development of Website design and web server maintenance

o Responsible for IT security and management of the firewalls

·  Asset Management

o Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products

o Manage the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies

Essential Skills:

·  Windows 2000;

·  VPN;

·  Active Directory;

·  Able to install, configure and troubleshoot routers, switches and firewalls;

·  LAN, WAN;

·  Knowledge and full understanding of TCP/IP;;

·  Data Backup and recovery experience;

·  Network administration: Security, Virus protection, performance monitoring and optimization;

·  Computer Support: Software installation and upgrading, desktop and PC installation and servicing;

·  Phone system maintenance – CTI phone system experience desired;

·  DBMS;

·  File maker pro desired.
