Position Summary:
This Beijing-based position offers a truly unique opportunity to press home our competitive advantage in the region and to build an outstanding career in global investor relations.
You will play a major role in directing a staff of 20 persons based primarily in Beijing and Shanghai.
Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for developing and executing CCG’s investor relations services throughout the Asia region.
In partnership with the President and global account executives, you will be responsible for the development of strategy, operating plans, budget, and execution of the IR programs for a roster of more than 40 clients, by performing the following duties.
Primary internal and external relationships:
Internal relationships: President, CEO, the firm’s Partners and Account executives.External relationships: Client CEO’s, CFO’s, Heads of Communications, Chief Counsels. Institutional investors (including security analysts, portfolio managers, directors of research, investment department heads, and strategists), individual investors, stock brokerage security analysts and their directors of research, business and financial media.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic leadership
· Lead a growing staff of writers, market intelligence specialists, graphic designers, and media specialists.
· As manager, present regular reports to the President and Partners on market trends, initiatives, prospect development, and parameters of client satisfaction and financial performance
· Act as manager, coach and mentor to Asian staff
· Speak on behalf of the company at investment presentations, institutions, individual meetings and discussions.
· Host conference calls, facilitate discussion and translation between investors and management
· Support the investors’ decision-making processes for clients through organizing and hosting visits to institutions, individual meetings, visits by analysts and investors to company plants and offices
· Lead the production processes for client website and written collateral design and development
· Provide significant input into local policy development and training program design for Asian offices
· Provide competitive intelligence and market feedback to President and Partners
· Participate in key professional organizations in local markets
Education/Experience:
· BS or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution. Masters in Business Administration, CFA or equivalent highly desirable.
· Five to seven years of experience in investor relations, finance, marketing, planning and development, or corporate communication positions for a public company or a consulting agency
· Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability
· A clear and thorough understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance and the resulting value for its stock.
· An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets, with established relationships in them, and the ability to establish new relationships quickly.
· Ability to keep ahead of the curve in the latest financial techniques, financial structures, securities regulation
· An in-depth understanding of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, advertising, and the media
· An outstanding reputation with the investment community, based on credibility, consistency, visibility, access, and depth and breadth of knowledge.
· Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, and an outstanding ability to communicate using these qualities and skills
· An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor.
· An active and effective leader demonstrated through prior management experience of sizeable teams.
· A person with an insatiable appetite to learn more and improve their skill set.
Additional Skills required
· Computer Skills: Must be highly computer literate, to include expertise with MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Communication Skills: Highest quality written and oral communication skills are essential
· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the US and Asia. Must have the appropriate immigration and Visa status currently in place, including the ability to live and work permanently in Hong Kong.
Languages: Must be fluent in Mandarin and English both written and spoken.
