Marketing Analyst

DESCRIPTION

¥ Perform predictive and statistical modeling

¥ Multivariate Statistics

¥ Data Mining

¥ Web Analytics and Forecasting

¥ Establish and manage an analytics department

¥ Train analysts on statistical methods and software

¥ Liaison between the Analytics department and other departments within the organization

¥ Create statistical exhibits examining sales and marketing performance

¥ Design market segmentation profiles using syndicated and proprietary research

¥ Build computer models to evaluate projected market conditions and associated auction financial results

¥ Maintain reporting and analysis in support of sales and marketing effort.

¥ Maintain absorption rate models to predict length of sales process for properties, in certain markets, in certain conditions, and in certain price ranges.

Requirements:

¥ Four-year degree in a business-related field is required. Graduate degree is a plus.

¥ Candidate should possess three or more years of experience in a related role.

¥ Candidate should possess knowledge of econometric modeling to forecast client performance as predicted by various variable inputs (media spend across mediums, marketing efforts, seasonality, market conditions, foreclosures, competitor actions, etc) with the intention of maximizing client return on investment across all channels.

¥ Solid understanding and ability to apply qualitative and quantitative market research techniques and analytics to solve complex business and marketing challenges.

¥ Knowledge of market segmentation methodologies and related strategic initiatives for developing, refining, and marketing to various consumer segments.

¥ Knowledge of predictive modeling such as regression, time series, and conjoint analysis to determine and predict consumer behaviors and forecast business outcomes.

¥ Strong skills in communication including presentation skills and ability to persuade others in a multifunctional environment.
