Marketing Management
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing and sales collateral, programs and campaigns. Assists management in planning and creating strategies, tactics, and materials for the purpose of conveying corporate messaging to target markets, retaining and strengthening customer relationships and expanding business development efforts.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Ø Develop & execute Industry growth strategies, key objectives, & action plans based on ongoing analysis & input from the industry & Sales partners.
Ø Lead market & competitive intelligence efforts to infuse market insights into strategic planning & marketplace differentiation, emphasizing market success key influencers. Listen & incorporate partner/influencer/consumer feedback to help drive projects/campaigns.
Ø Ensure sales & marketing materials and products resonate with targets by gathering feedback.
Ø Develop, implement & monitor comprehensive marketing calendar.
Ø Collaborate with public relations, to ensure optimization of market strategy, positioning & messaging.
Ø Create, build & maintain collaborative partnership with Sales teams and other functional areas.
Ø Responsible for marketing budget development, planning & tracking, and product management.
Ø Participates in the planning, implementation and execution of marketing programs and business development campaigns. Establishes related metrics and measurement tools, and reports results.
Ø Develops marketing communications materials according to established deadlines.
Ø Ensures marketing materials, advertising, and PR efforts position the company appropriately.
Ø Manages multiple assigned projects through to completion and on time.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ø Creative, energetic self-starter, willing to take initiative; solve problems and develop solutions.
Ø Desire to learn including ability to positively incorporate constructive feedback.
Ø An entrepreneurial attitude: willing to "do what it takes", learn & adjust as needed.
Ø Bachelors Degree preferred
Ø 5+ years marketing experience
Ø 2+ years B2B marketing experience
Ø In-depth understanding of marketing tools, metrics, and methodologies.
Ø Significant experience collaborating with sales organizations and working cross-functionally.
Ø Team Player: Superior verbal and interpersonal skills, including persuasion.
Ø Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
Ø Intermediate computer skills in MS Excel or Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Ø Excellent time management, communications, decision making, and organizational skills.
