Marketing Manager - Business Development Support

Based at our client’s headquarters just south of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, this newly-created opportunity will establish, direct, and manage marketing plans to support business development and ensure successful sales operations. Actively participate in successful achievement of business objectives across all channels, regarding lead generation and business-to-business branding of flagship sales training program. Allocate and oversee marketing and promotional budget for all related programs; ensure productive use of marketing funds; ascertain that all projects are delivered on or under budget; make appropriate resource trade-offs. Develop and maintain monthly marketing metrics. Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish marketing calendar across all media and brands (print, electronic, search, direct mail)
Manage execution of marketing plan; ensure tactical execution of all aspects of marketing program, media planning, and negotiation
Coordinate and prepare business proposals, communications materials and other written requests for information. Heavy emphasis regarding online business promotional activities.
Take a hands-on lead in the development/production of marketing material (PowerPoint presentations, online sales promotions, HTML email campaigns, brochures, material for websites, press releases, direct mail pieces and collateral, etc.)
Manage the customer /project database for effective communication and sales opportunities
Coordinate activities to ensure pre-sales and post-sales support to maximize customer satisfaction (e.g., creating and managing loyalty program for top clients).
Develop actionable and timely marketing responses to ongoing issues.
Develop other sales collateral and marketing communications materials as required.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other closely related field.
At least 5 years related marketing experience, preferably business-to-business marketing management experience. Proven knowledge of marketing communications, managerial, and project management skills.
Familiarity with online marketing; development of digital tools; and basic understanding of HTML. (CRM, affiliate programs, blogs, best practices for digital marketing strategies and materials.)
High level of proficiency with PowerPoint. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, sales database software) required.
Ability to proactively identify business issues, provide solutions and execute action plans.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with particular attention to detail while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
Demonstrated strength in both verbal and written skills and interpersonal relationship management.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Must be self-motivated, results oriented, organized administrator and a team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
Must be willing to travel up to 25% to make presentations to potential clients, attend trade shows, and visit existing customers.
