SunGard serves more than 25,000 customers in more than 50 countries, including the world’s 50 largest financial services companies.General Job Description:This role is responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and analysis of projects that support the marketing function for SunGard’s Global Accounts and Consulting Services Segment. The person needs to be analytically oriented, self-motivated, able to manage mulitple projects simultaneously, and work well both individually and with a team to meet tight deadlines. This person will interact with numerous internal and external contacts, including consulting staff, account salespeople, corporate marketing, and other business units. S/he needs to demonstrate professional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment, within defined business procedures and practices, to determine the appropriate action to take when responding to requests.Position Requirements:Specific Responsibilities:• Manage, analyze, and report findings of sales and marketing data• Assist with sales pipeline reporting and report management• Participate in the coordination, execution, tracking, and results reporting of marketing activities, including targeted mailings, events, webinars, and partnership programs• Help gather and organize information required to support marketing program development, including case studies, sales support materials, web site updates, and presentations• Be a Salesforce.com super user, supporting the Segment• Assist with various requests from corporate marketing, sales, and other departments needing marketing support.Required Skills:• 3-5 years experience, ideally in sales and marketing support• Strong analytical, communications, and project management skills• Bachelors degree• CRM systems experience required, Salesforce.com highly preferable• Salary commensurate with experience.
