Position Description:
As a Master Scheduler, you will have direct responsibility for the following duties: Responsible for management tracking and implementation of multiple Microsoft project schedules from various sources which may require resource loading and trackingResponsible for developing and maintaining multiple integrated master schedules and report generation among various departmentsPlan, schedule, estimate cost control, commitment tracking, risk analysis and project and management reporting Formulate and recommend corrective actions Coordinate, develop and update master schedules to ensure product production goals are met through effective planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition and schedule executionDevelop detailed, accurate and usable schedules and reports to provide effective management tools for execution and feedbackAttend scheduling meetings to ensure pre-planning, implementation, schedule critiques are effective in developing continuous product improvementResponsible for providing general staff support by analyzing, maintaining and tracking program action items
Minimum qualifications include:
BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field or equivalent experienceMust be proficient with MS Project as well as the standard MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)2+ years experience as a scheduler; must be competent building resource loaded project schedules and maintaining an integrated master scheduleMust be analytical, proactive, comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization, detailed, organized, able to function in a fast paced environment and possess good communications skillsPossess strong analytical skills to discover weaknesses within current business processes and documentationBroad knowledge of Project Controls Scheduling systems and processes including computer based applications Ability to multitask and work effectively, both independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standardsMust be highly motivated and maintain focus on detailMust meet U.S. citizenship requirements Possess a SECRET clearance
