Ability to take ownership of a task and see through to completion. The candidate will quickly learn the system and processes and become a trusted technical advisor to the client. - Possesses the capability to quickly understand the requirements/work orders and with minimum direction research and trouble shoot the problem, reconcile data, develop code as needed, test and deploy the code on the test server for acceptance. - Follow the Agencies coding standards, data architecture standards and best practices as prescribed by the client in all the project artifacts for delivery and exposure to Software Configuration Tools such as Visual Source Safe is a must for successful project delivery and acceptance. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills that yield highly effective interaction with team members and with the client, and that contribute to our company culture. - Manage own work load, self-disciplined, and self motivated. - This contract is an Operations and Maintenance engagement. - This person will participate in business development activities.- This candidate will interact with the clients on a daily basis. - Ideas may be brought up with tech lead/project manager.Position-specific Requirements: - US Citizen- 4+ years technical experience includes but not limited to Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 including Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Interdev, COM/COM+, ASP, SQL Server 2005, Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, Web Services, IIS, HTML, XML, Visio, DOM and Java Scripting. - Should be able to create deployment packages that contain source code, database scripts, peer review document and test case related documents.
