Newspaper Distribution Project Manager

GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
This position concentrates efforts in coordinating and tracking pre-launch and post-launch activities for new Home Delivery markets and developing and maintaining long term, collaborative relationships with third party partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Evaluate and assist new 3rd parties to determine how best their systems should be set up to handle processing of transactions
• Work closely with new 3rd parties and sales department in obtaining or creating street files.
• Provide ongoing onsite systems analysis and support to third party home delivery partners and PCF Circulation Managers
• Establish and manage account reconciliation process through B2B system and manually as dictated by capabilities of individual 3rd parties.
• Monitor post launch sales and service issues.
• Work closely with third party sites to provide new or additional training as needed.
• Assist with PCF home delivery expansion projects as directed.
 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Use of computers with particular emphasis on the use of MS Excel and Access programs. 
• Able to interact effectively with a variety of people in person and via telephone. 
• Able to exercise good judgment and practice sound analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changes in routine and priorities.
• Availability for extensive overnight travel as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills required. 
• Excellent computer skills, ability to receive files in various formats from 3rd parties and reformat them into structures acceptable for loading into CIS.
• An in-depth understanding of the NY Times home delivery system and the B2B system.
 EDUCATION
• College degree or equivalent
 EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years home delivery experience
