We are currently searching for a Nurse Administrator to work in our Alarm Center located in Trevose, PA.  This position requires coordinating medical referrals and appointments, assisting with ICD-9 coding and providing support in fulfilling clinical and administrative responsibilities for Medical Transport duties and documentation.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Working with various Alarm Centers around the world;Managing  and coordinating medical referrals and appointments;Interfaces with other Medical Team Members and patient/client to ensure appropriate and acceptable appointments are made;Ensures accurately completed records for all in-coming calls;Works with Alarm Center Staff to ensure accuracy of ICD-9 coding;Assists to ensure real time adherence to high quality and well planned patient transports and documentation in fulfillment of patient care and the Medical Transport Audit Document;Works with various other Alarm Center and Medical Team Members to administer, review, make recommendations for and refine the Medical Room Standardization Process and all associated consumables, pharmaceuticals and durable medical equipment;

· Under the direction of the CMO – assists the Alarm Center staff with Medical Record review, Medical Note writing as tasked in Magellan; especially if Spanish translation is necessary and the candidate is bilingual in conversational and medical Spanish.

 

Requirements include:Licensed Practical Nurse;Bilingual in Spanish is preferred;Knowledge of medical terminology;Broad Clinical Skills – Med/Surg/Psychiatry;Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;Customer service oriented, team player and good communication skills;ability to multi task, work under pressure and prioritize efficiently in a  high volume environment while maintaining the quality standard set forth in the departmentIdentifies and acts on potential problems and / or difficultiesDemonstrates effective problem solving skills and lateral thinkingHas initiative, takes responsibility.
