The OFFICE OPERATIONS MANAGER at our DALLAS assists other managers in managing day to day operations of the local distribution center including customer service, inventory, and other administrative duties.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Provides customer service phone support to our external customers and outside vendors by assisting with questions or concerns and directing the calls to the appropriate person.  Phone support may include troubleshooting service calls.

·  Assists with managing operations staff by maintaining personnel and DOT files, employee relations, payroll, etc.

·  Processes installation paperwork for each completed install in a timely manner.

·  Creates and maintains customer files at the depot location.

·  Monitors distribution / routing software.

·  Maintains CRM system by creating / updating customer information, receipt of shipments, delivery tickets, and entering inventory.

·  Receives shipments into the depot including oil, paper, powder, and corporate warehouse shipments.

·  Assists with the monthly physical inventory process.

·  Maintains and complies with all HACCP standards at all times.

·  Cross-trains in other functions of operations including the service and sales departments.

·  Maintains the appearance and functionality of the office including ordering of supplies and cleanliness.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

·  B.A. degree; and/or 3-5 years related operations experience; or combination

·  Exceptional computer skills in MS Office applications, Oracle is helpful (or other ERP / call center tracking system)

·  Exceptional organizational skills both phone and in person

·  Multi-tasking and handling high priority projects

·  Strong team player
