On-Premise Hispanic Portfolio Specialist

PORTFOLIO SPECIALIST –
BASIC FUNCTION

Work with spirits client, as a facilitator in the implementation and execution of key local market, brand building initiatives (on and off premise). This individual will work hand in hand with the local client to determine overall market work plan. They are responsible for on-going programming and results in assigned key accounts.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with clients Regional Marketing team, sales team and distributor in the planning, selling and implementation of brand promotional programs in assigned key accounts.

Develop and maintain strong, positive consumer and trade relationships of brands on the client’s behalf.

Establish and maintain open communications and close working relationships with all critical parties: employer, client, sales organization, distributor and assigned key accounts.

Identify trade opportunities and merchandising opportunities for brand presence through distribution, menu prints and POS placement. Effectively manage allocated merchandising materials and storage facilities.

Execute comprehensive product training and education on core brands to support assigned work plan with all critical parties.

Organize, manage and coordinate staffing and POS needs for the execution of promotions / events in the assigned market plan.

Work with local modeling / promotional agencies to select and manage appropriate team, ensure proper education, training prior to any consumer / trade interactions.

Ability to track, measure and evaluate brand and market performance, as identified in market scope of work, against assigned key performance indicators.

Effectively manage approved budgets.

Ability to submit all reports, as requested, in a timely manner.


QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree: advertising, marketing and/ or communications preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in Spirits Industry, on-premise marketing preferred.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of special event marketing
• Must be a self-starter
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to successfully interact with various gatekeepers (bartenders, bar managers, restaurant owners, distributors and client).
• Advance PC skills – Word, Excel & Powerpoint
• Ability to manage and track budgets
• Clean driving record and good credit history
• Must be able to provide own transportation to and from accounts and events.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (i.e. weekends, holidays and evenings).
• Must be fluent in English & Spanish
