Order Planner

ATI Allegheny Ludlum, an operating company of Allegheny Technologies (NYSE: ATI), manufactures and markets a wide range of flat rolled specialty metals, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium and electrical steels to global end use markets such as aerospace, power generation, automotive and housing.  Our goal is to safely deliver exceptional value toourcustomers, suppliers, employees and shareholders We are currently seeking an Order Planner for our CommoditySheet Business Unit.  This position reports to the Planning Supervisor and is located at our Technical and Commercial Center in Natrona Heights, PA Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical and math skills are required. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and process a varied workloadand meet deadlines. Excellent problem solving skills are required. Fundamental Personal Computer skills are required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages. Candidate must also have a strong work ethic, team work, communication and organizational skills. Position responsibilities include using ATI Allegheny Ludlum planning systems to plan & load orders within the capacities of ATI Allegheny Ludlum manufacturing facilities. Quote customer order inquires within capabilities of manufacturing centers, melt to ship yields, and lead time. Manage levels of inventory related to product line and to meet quarterly inventory turns goal. Will communicate with various departments including various levels of management, Inside Sales & Field Sales representatives, Marketing, Technical and Plant Personnel. Take actions that leave a direct impact on specific business functions or budget entities within cost containment guidelines.Knowledge of the steel making process is a plus. Experience with MRP Planning Loading systems, Supply Chain Management & Inventory Control Systems is also a plus. If you are organized, motivated and can work independently and as a part of a dynamic team, please contact us. For consideration, submit your resume. An Equal Opportunity EmployerAffirmative Action for Females, Minorities, Vietnam Era Veterans and the DisabledSee Job Description
