Outside Sales Executive

Thrive seeks to hire an Outside Sales Executive to help take our sales efforts and results to the next level and accelerate our growth even faster than the current pace, including national expansion. The individual applying for this position must be highly motivated, goal oriented, focused on continuous improvement and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment. Due to the consultative nature of the sale the individual must also have extremely strong relationship building skills along with demonstrated closing ability.
The Outside Sales Executive will mainly be responsible for going on meetings with qualified prospects to understand their IT support needs, present Thrive’s offering and close them on a recurring support plan based on the services outlined in Thrive’s product catalog.
Position requirements and desired attributes
Degree from 4-year college with proven academic successExperience in Solutions/Consultative salesExperience in selling technology or technology services a plus Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skillsStrong ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic and professional demeanor and presence in person and over the phone.Positive attitude Excellent organizational skillsExperience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes preferred.
Description of Duties:
Individual duties are outlined and assigned by the VP of Sales in conjunction with individual performance goals and objectives. Basic guidelines are as follows:Attend meetings with qualified prospects at client location (MA, RI, NH)Thorough identification and documentation of prospects needs, expectations, and prioritiesDetailed preparation and follow up activities with qualified prospects Presentation and proposal development Achieve monthly and quarterly recurring revenue targets Maintain accurate database of client contact informationTimely completion of required paperwork and reportsAttendance of networking groups and eventsSelf-directed continuous improvement of sales and technical knowledge
