Job Description:


The chosen Candidate will have the drive to work independently as an Outside Sales Professional to generate sales from companies in the Coachella Valley.  Successful Candidates are responsible for identifying clients through hard work and creative prospecting techniques.  They will present the Sprint Nextel, TelePacific and Automated Telecom solutions in a consultative sale to qualified prospects and will be able to close business within their first 30 days of employment.   Additionally, experience in business planning, forecasting, reporting, telemarketing, networking and account management is necessary.

 

 

Requirements:

 

1.  BS/BA degree preferred

2.  2-5 years of experience in Business-to-Business sales

3.  Non-Smoker

4.  Reliable Transportation

5.  Superior communication skills and professional appearance

6.  The ability to manage frequent and/or unexpected work related changes

7.  The ability to manage time in a productive manner

8.  Results driven and self motivated

9.  Computer literate in Outlook, Office 2003, and internet savvy to complete required work on corporate websites

10. Demonstrate experience in the following areas: telemarketing, sales networking, teamwork, problem resolution, achievement of goals and quotas, excellent time management, and sales plan writing skills

 

Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office including excel, word, power point, and outlook is necessary for daily work activities.  Additionally, experience in accessing and using database management programs and the use of extranet/corporate websites is essential to success.

To ensure immediate success, Automated Telecom offers a graduated quota schedule for the first three months during your training/probationary period.  Automated Telecom’s Sales position has unlimited income potential with a very aggressive commission schedule.  This opportunity is perfect for the Professional Sales person who wants to maximize their worth as a sales person and earn $100K plus a year by the end of their second year.  In addition, Automated Telecom offers a wide array of benefits protecting our most valuable asset - our people.  Employee benefits include: 3,000 minute per month cell phone for $20 per month and car allowance for sales calls.  After 90 days and achievement of the Sales Representative Trainee goals and quotas additional benefits include Group Medical Insurance subsidy and reimbursement for pre-approved networking expenses.  Other available benefits include Spiffs, Bonuses, company computer, personal tax returns completed by company CPA and retirement plan.
