About the Position:
Sales Partnerships, Inc. (SPI) represents TXU Energy, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest energy companies in the world. We are looking for the right people to help us to grow and extend our presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. This is a challenging opportunity to work for one of the recognized top sales organizations in the country representing the top energy company in Texas.
You will be selling deregulated energy targeting businesses on behalf of TXU Energy - one of the two major incumbent power companies in Texas. Job responsibilities will be to approach businesses owners or managers and sell them the benefits of choosing TXU Energy for their electricity, close the sale in person, and report all activity to sales managers. We offer a reasonable ramp up period along with extensive sales training and significant back-office support ranging from technology solutions to help you sell through to targeted prospect lists through territory management tools. You will receive a competitive base pay with full benefits as well as extremely competitive commissions (with no caps on commissions).
Responsibilities:
Face-to-face cold calling of over 40 businesses per day Identifying the decision-maker for the businesses’ energy needs Conversing with the decision-maker to help determine a cost savings solution Creating an urgency to act on proposed solutions Close the sale in person
Requirements:
2-3 years of business to business outside sales experience is required Experience using consultative sales techniques to successfully close the sale Willingness to make a high volume of face-to-face cold calls Excellent communication and written skills Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and professionalism
Compensation:
Competitive base pay plus unlimited commissions. First year earnings could exceed $65K-$75K if target goals are met. A top performer could exceed much more than $75K in the first year since commissions are uncapped.
