POOL FENCE SALES REP -  Bakersfield - Kern County



PROTECT-A-CHILD POOL FENCE SYSTEMS, INC. is looking for an outside independent rep to handle sales and installations of our product in Bakersfield and Kern County. 

Pool drowning is a leading cause of death among children under 5.   Protect-A-Child manufactures removable child safety pool fences designed to prevent this tragedy.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Someone conscientious, motivated, financially responsible, and service oriented.  Someone capable of promoting the product, developing leads, and handling sales and installations of the fence.  

 

TRAINING?  We provide all the sales, advertising, and installation training needed as well as all needed sales materials. No experience with pools or fencing is necessary.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?You can work from home.  You will need to have a vehicle and provide liability insurance as well as your own tools. 

 

HOW AM I PAID?  Your bids / customer estimates will include markup on the product and installation.  As you sell fences, you simply purchase the fence from us and schedule the installation.  We generally ship within 24 hours via UPS.  You keep all proceeds when installations are complete.

IS THIS A NEW PRODUCT?No. Our removable mesh pool fence has been very popular throughout the US for over 24 years and well known in California.  Mesh fences are recognized as an approved safety option required around every new swimming pool in California and Florida.  Any parent with a swimming pool and child will find this to be the best possible solution to their child’s swimming pool safety problem.  The advantages include appearance, removability, and, of course, unsurpassed safety.  (See our website for details). CAN YOU START ON A PART TIME BASIS? Yes.  While this will be somewhat seasonal, our hope is for you to become full time as soon as possible. 

 

WHAT ARE THE BASICS OF THE POSITION?Pool owners will be calling or e-mailing from leads generated by our national website, your local efforts, and your local pay per click advertising.  You will need to provide in home estimates to those customers as well as follow ups if they don’t order immediately. When the customer orders, you order the fence from us.  We generally ship within 24 hours via UPS.  When the fence arrives, you schedule and perform the installation typically requiring 4-5 hours. The customer pays you upon completion.
