POS Project Manager

Occupation: IT Project Management;General/Other: Project/Program Management;Project Management The qualified candidate will work closely with Sales, Development and Retail Systems Support to augment our relationships with POS terminal manufacturers as well as internal and external partners who develop applications for our market space. The primary objective for this position will be to manage these relationships from a product perspective including life cycle management of POS equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects.Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyIdentifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS3 -5 years experience working with POS equipment with an emphasis on the technology and application.Associates Degree in either Project Management and or in a related Technical field.Project Management Certification preferable.Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities as they relate to Check Authorization, Verification and Guarantee.Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.Ability to effectively convey our message in both written and verbal business development discussions.Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming as it relates to POS systems.Understands IP, Dial Up and protocols required for POS equipment topology.Ability to interact with customers, vendors and partners at all levels. Crosscheck, Inc. is the third largest payment approval and guarantee company in the nation.  At Crosscheck, we offer advancement opportunities, high-income potential, team-oriented departments and a diverse group of friendly, motivated people.
