Associated Industries of Massachusetts (A.I.M.), the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan association of employers in Massachusetts, has an opening in its Membership Department for a Part-Time Regional Membership Director for the Northeast Region.  The position, based in the Route 128 technology belt north of Boston, offers an experienced sales and/or member-service professional the opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization that believes outstanding service drives revenue growth. 


The Part-Time Regional Membership Director position is a 3 full days/week (20hour), exempt position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from home.Position Summary



The Part-Time Regional Membership Director Position will be responsible for:

· Generating new members for A.I.M.

· Making annual service visits to A.I.M.- member companies

· Meeting with the decision makers from area employers

· Matching member needs with appropriate A.I.M. services and products

· Maintaining accurate member contact information in the A.I.M. database

 

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years broad-based sales/member-service experience, will have worked in a professional services industry, and will have extensive experience in generating leads and various prospecting practices.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.

 

Critical requirements for this position include a strong sales/hunter ability, along with an uncompromising commitment to customer service.  The ability to work independently but within a team environment is essential.  This position is for a self-starter that has an impeccable time-management and a personal planning philosophy.
