Service Parts Administrator Bell Industries is seeking a Service Parts Administrator to support its computer repair depot in Westbrook, ME.  The Service Parts Administrator’s primary role will be to procure replacement parts for the computer repair technicians.  Responsibilities:· Oversee and coordinate the service part procurement through warranty vendors and out of warranty suppliers· Provide service part inventory management, shipping, receiving and maintaining good customer and vendor relations.· Ensure that all core service parts are returned in a timely basis, to prevent additional charges from vendors, as measured by vendor statements.· Maintain correct parts inventory levels, working directly with technicians to ensure accuracy of parts ordered. · Communicate closely with vendors to reduce back orders to the lowest levels possible.· Communicate with techs and management on any back order situations that may reduce productivity in the Depot process. · Maximize vendor warranty reimbursements by helping to reduce multiple part orders per S/N whenever possible. Ensure that all warranty claims are accurately filed. · Ensure that timely warranty payments are received from vendors. Investigate instances of incorrect payment or non-payment on any claim, measured by database reports.· Coordinate month end reviews and client billing reports, when appropriate· Demonstrate time management and organizational skills while maintaining a neat and orderly work environment.· Demonstrate a commitment to good customer service whether customers are internal or external. Approach customers, colleagues, and management in a positive, professional manner to resolve problems.· Communicate and work together with customers, colleagues, management and work teams in a timely and professional manner to achieve company and departmental objectives· Actively strive for process improvement in all aspects of the part administration process. Requirements: Must have excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in the use of spreadsheets.
