Location/s: Washington, DC/McLean, VARelocation: NoCitizenship Requirements: U.S. CitizenPerformance Profile:The position requires demonstrated analytical ability and strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and government clients as well as the ability to present findings and recommendations to clients. Specifically, the candidate will be participating in performance audit reviews at various grantee sites throughout the country. This position is expected to entail about 40% travel.Required Skills: 2+ years knowledge of grants management. 1+ years experience in developing performance evaluation/audit review guidebooks, procedures, and checklists. 1+ years experience in assessing performance data reported by grantees for accuracy and reasonableness and assessing internal controls in a performance data collection system. 1+ years experience leading site visits including client interviews, facilitate meetings, and conduct performance audit review procedures. 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. 5+ years applicable previous work experience.Valued Experience: Ability to provide opinion based on performance data assessment and on the results of other performance evaluation procedures. Excellent management skills, communication and organizational skills, written and oral presentation skills, and the ability to communicate and work well in a team environment. Previous federal consulting and/or auditing experience. Grantee performance reporting and performance data assessment. Strategic recommendations and planning tied to financial and/or program performance evaluation. Preferred certifications (CGFM, CISA, CPA).Knowledge of and experience in several of the following is preferred: Performance evaluation of federal grant recipients. Assessment of compliance with grant terms and conditions. Performance evaluation against established program goals. Internal control assessment. Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Law enforcement operations, especially drug enforcement programs carried out by federal agencies such as Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF), and the Executive Office of the President/Office of National Drug Control Policy (EOP/ONDCP).
