Position: Sales Manager/Program Manager
Position: Sales Manager/Program Manager – Woodbine, Maryland Description: Immediate position available for a Sales Manager/Program Manager with extensive experience in managing multiple sales teams. This high profile position will be the leader in defining and refining existing sales organizations across the USA. Summary: Develops strategic sales direction of multiple clients. Manages and drives business development, marketing and sales organization for Sales Focus Incorporated throughout the United States. Responsible for achieving annual new business quota goals and working Operations to retain existing contract base. Primary Duties: 1. Market Analysis:On an annual and semi-annual basis, reviews published market analyses from standard sources to understand market trends, market size and competitive practices. 2. Marketing ApproachDetermines best marketing and sales channels for (direct vs. indirect) and (cold calls, vs. ads, vs. referrals, vs. telemarketing campaign vs. direct mail vs. trade shows) by quantifying the results of ongoing marketing efforts.3. Marketing and Sales PlanDevelops a marketing and sales plan for each fiscal year, with a calendar of activities to be performed each quarter, forecast revenue bookings monthly, and billings per budget cycle.4. Lead TrackingDevelops, implements and maintains a centralized lead tracking system so the leads are captured within a database, utilized and tracked.5. Manages Sales ActivitiesEstablished and assigns geographic sales territories, annual quotas, and annual sales compensation plan. Forecasts potential business on a monthly basis. Functions as “master closer” and assists sales representatives in large dollar volume sales. 6. Sales AdministrationCaptures, tracks and analyzes ongoing sales statistics. 7. Employee PerformanceEstablishes, communicates and relies on operating standards of performance to ensure that the field sales organization is performing at a level of maximum productivity.8. MotivationResponsible for motivating sales force to obtain goals in a consistent manner throughout month, quarter, half and year. Qualifications: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent work experience. Has had formal sales training from a nationally recognized quality training organization. EXPERIENCE: Total of 5+ years of directly applicable experience in sales management:· Prior direct experience in the marketing of non-tangible services· Prior direct and extensive experience in the sale of non-tangible services (proven high volume closer)· Prior direct and extensive experience in the management and supervision of others· Prior direct and extensive experience in the development and management strategic relationships· Industry expertise preferred with of minimum 5 years with direct contacts at high levels· High Energy, with tremendous communication capabilities· Must be willing to travel across the US The company offers employees competitive base salary, benefits and commissions.
