Principal RTI Technologist

The ideal candidate would have real world senior IT management experience supporting a large scale technology infrastructure, as well as the appropriate mixture of technical depth and business acumen to properly align technological capabilities to address real world business challenges.Day to Day WorkYou will:- Work on behalf of Unisys, meeting with client IT executives and internal Unisys groups to clearly articulate the Unisys RTI strategy and solution offerings. Venues will include exploratory workshops, formal presentations, and RFP contributions, among others.- Work with a wide array of internal Unisys groups, including global Marketing and the RTI Strategic Program Office, among others. You will assist these groups to continually refine the messaging around our RTI offerings based on your experience in deploying advanced technologies in the data center. - Work with Unisys top 3D Blueprinting clients to help them realize the value of the Unisys RTI portfolio.QualificationsRequired: - At least 10 years IT management experience (as Director or above) supporting large scale production environments that: " Supported business critical applications and functions;" Utilized blade servers;" Utilized large scale or complex LAN and WAN environments;" Utilized large scale or complex fiber channel and/or iSCSI Storage Area Networks; " Leveraged a structured, process driven operations environment (i.e. ITIL, formal change management, etc);" Utilized virtualization technologies.- Experience creating and delivering presentations to large groups of senior business leaders;- Experience creating and documenting business cases to justify technology expenditures;- Experience working with clients while following standard sales processes.
