Your Opportunity:
Portico™ Systems is looking to grow our Product Management department by adding an enthusiastic and achievement driven professional to join our team.  The Product Analyst will be responsible for defining key software solutions to support the Portico Platform.

This is a creative and challenging position with great growth potential. The ideal candidate will have well rounded capabilities in requirements analysis and design.  As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for defining product software to enhance our Portico® Provider Platform.

Your Growth Path:
This position provides candidates a path to management of Portico® Platform Solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to define and deliver new products and functionality to the Portico® Product Platform.

· Gather business requirements intended for use in the creation and/or expansion of Portico® Platform Solutions.

· Create software system User Interface designs, data flow diagrams.

· Write Solution Engineering Documents for the Engineering Team to complete coding/configuration.

· Collaborate with software engineers on the design of product.

· Review submitted requests for enhancements to ensure directionally consistent product development.

· Help identify and resolve issues related to the Portico® Product Platform

· Contribute to product line strategic direction and Product Roadmap based upon customer needs and business goals.

· Contribute to end-user guides.

· Ensure adherence to Portico® Fast Track Methodology.

· Serve as a subject matter expert to client project teams.

· Serve as a subject matter expert to QA team through testing to ensure the product requirements are met.

· Assist with verification testing of software.

· Provide cross-functional product support in areas such as: product demonstrations, trade shows, internal training, etc.


Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of relevant experience in the field or in a related area or equivalent combination of work experience and education

· Experience writing product requirements and working with engineering teams

· Understanding of product lifecycle from inception through delivery and post-delivery support.

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Web-based GUI design/usability a plus

· Bachelors degree required

· Healthcare experience a plus

· Proficient with MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, Visio
