Product Manager Assistant

 

Heilind Electronics, a $400 million North American Electronics Distributor has an immediate job opening in our Highland Hts facility working in our Product Marketing Department.  The Product Marketing Assistant is a good entry level position to learn our business and advance your career. 

Possible advancement opportunities are in Product Management and Sales positions.

 

We intend to fill this position as soon as possible.

 

Job Description/Responsibilities:

 

Support Product Managers and Sales in their daily efforts to grow their product line sales and margins.  This position is established to handle many of the administrative tasks for the PM’s to allow them more time to concentrate on pro-active product tasks to support sales.   This position will be servicing your  internal customers which includes sales managers, inside/outside sales and product managers. 

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following in the Product Marketing Assistant role.

 

Standard Price and Delivery requests from sales and product.

Supplier contract maintainance, renewals and updating.

Cross reference requests from sales/PM’s.

Sample Requests.

Part loading on system.

Literature requests.

Supplier prints, specification requests.

Distributor stock checks/part searches

Become trained to use Quote Accelerator quoting function.

Opportunity tracker administration.

Product Manager backup while they are out.  Become trained on the major product lines in order to fill in while PM is out for good coverage.

Participate fully in all supplier training meetings with sales. 

Attend supplier training when possible.
