Project Manager - Advisory Services Technology Management (Cleveland, OH) - 00HO1

Role description An outstanding IT Project Manager will make you a terrific prospect for this unique Global Center role within Ernst & Young's Cleveland office. The individual will work within the Global Assurance & Advisory Business Services (AABS) Markets and Infrastructure team as a Product Manager. The role will report to the Americas AABS Technology Implementation Leader and will be responsible for working with Americas stakeholders coordinating their technology initiatives and tools. Specific areas of responsibility will include the following: Work with the associated practice stakeholders to identify and prioritize their needs and act as their primary contact. Manage the design, development, deployment, measurement and support of various tools, closely working with practices, vendors and IT. Design and deliver appropriate support and training materials. Support the deployment planning and delivery efforts by determining the appropriate infrastructure / technology platforms for targeted Area deployments using agreed-upon criteria. Maintain an understanding of the Area business and technology needs to assist in the development and maintenance of an effective support model for the tools. Design and deliver appropriate deployment communications and awareness messages working with the Area AABS teams. Support presentations and learning programs with technology and tool specific content to be delivered to practice leaders and vendors as necessary. Develop appropriate metrics for measuring the effectiveness of tool development and deployment. Regularly interpret metrics and propose changes and improvements to the tool and supporting processes. Skills required The individual should be a Senior or Manager grade requiring the following skills: Recent AABS practitioner or IT product manager with 3+ years of experience Good working knowledge of the Professional Services, knowledge of audit methodology is preferred but not required Self driven, ability to learn new things quickly Good problem solving skills Able to multitask Good written and oral communication Team player Knowledge of commonly used applications such as MS Windows, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer.
