Summary:  ProjectManager or Business Analyst will be responsible for managing new products, company acquisitions,and miscellaneous projects.  Theseprojects will vary in size and time constraints.  They will also be responsible forunderstanding the terms of the project to ensure that all contract/project requirementsare met. 

 

 

Responsibilities:  The project manager or business analyst must facilitatecommunications between technical teams, project teams, and a number ofplayers. 

 

This position will be responsible for obtaining taskestimates from staff members and developing and tracking project schedules fromin-house preparation and integration, through on-site installation,verification and end user training. 

 

The project manager will be responsible for scheduling andconducting regular project meetings and generating associated meeting agenda’s,associated meeting minutes and updated project schedules.  Holding internal meetings with team membersand adhoc meetings that involve any outside vendors, etc will also berequired.  The project manager mustensure that the project scope is maintained and that any change request aredocumented and agreed upon in terms of cost and scheduling by the PMOManagement and the Project Business Sponsor. 

 

Team management is a key aspect of any project to ensurethat the project scope is maintained. For this reason, the candidate must have experience in managing internalcompany projects, with external company projects a plus. 

 

This position will also be responsible for generatingStatement of Work documents that define project scope, documentation, andservice deliverables for the project, and will be responsible for explainingthese deliverables to his/her management.

 

 

Skills:Data Entry, MS Office, & Software Skills; including Excel, Word, Lotus  

  Notes  

Excellentorganizational and multi-tasking skills are required.

  Excellentverbal and written communication skills are required.

  Knowledgeof MicroSoft Project a plus

  Knowledgeof Visio a plus

 

 

Education/Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred PMP orother project management certification or training is highly desirable
