Proposal Specialist.Field Marketing Services

POSITION PROFILE Drive IKON sales revenue by managing the RFP/RFQ process for medium size bids or those with short turnaround times. Responsible writing/editing of RFP responses, coordinating content from multiple sources and ensuring on-time delivery of proposal shells. Common support includes locating resources for complex solutions, assisting with proposal content and identifying collaterals. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage secondary Level 2 & 3 RFP?s that are submitted through the SolutionCenter Support Proposal Managers on Level 1 RFP?s when they require assistance. Maintain required service level commitments in terms of turnaround and customer satisfaction Communicates with team members on new best practices, resources and solutions Utilizes all research and knowledge sources available Maintain open communication with SME's in order to gather information for RFP Responsible for following up with sales force on win/loss rations and customer satisfaction from supported RFP?s Speaks the language of "yes" by offering options and not obstacles Identifies useful web content and needed RFP common responses for the database Participates in or lead special research projects as assigned by Sr. Manager or Director Completes all required training as defined in individual action plan Maintains confidentiality of sensitive corporate documents and databases and actively engage legal, investor relations, risk management and business line leaders when necessary Translates and emphasizes corporate initiatives and IKON values in all interactions with the field Assists with qualifying registrations for RFP support services. Assists Sr. Manager with the creation of common responses to be utilized on future RFP?s Works with graphic artist to determine proposal format guidelines in accordance with customer and company standards Enters RFP?s and supporting documentation into database within 48 hours of RFP initiation Loads files into shared drive as obtained from SME's and research resources Updates Action Plan monthly and submit to Manager Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3 year industry experience 4-6 years total work experience Four Year Degree, preferably Business, Communications, or English Competency in Microsoft Office Applications Previous proposal experience preferred Apply On-line IKON is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
